Phoenix Contact COMBICON SPT-SMD SMT 5.0 mm Pitch Terminal Blocks. COMBICON SPT-SMD series SMT terminal block connectors with a 5.0 mm pitch able to handle currents of up to 13.5 A and voltages of up to 320 V. These COMBICON SPT-SMD 5.0 mm pitch terminal blocks have a spring actuation lever for easy connection and disconnection of solid or stranded conductors up to 1.5 mm ;sup>2 ;/sup>. The push-in spring connection of these terminal blocks is a combination of spring cage and direct push-in technology. This connection method requires no additional tooling which results in a secure, reliable connection with savings in both time and costs. These SPT-SMD series terminal blocks are delivered in tape-on-reel packaging according to IEC 60283-3 allowing for easy integration into automated assembly in the reflow process. The horizontal versions of these COMBICON SPT-SMD terminal blocks feature 2 anchoring pins to assist with alignment and positioning on the PCB. The vertical versions have twin soldering pins for a secure attachment to the PCB. Features and Benefits.
