RS PRO Three-Phase VAF Digital Power Meter Introducing the RS PRO multi-function VAF Digital Power Meter, ideal for accurate measurement and audit of specific electrical loads. This digital power meter offers true RMS measurement for highly accurate and reliable readings resulting in quality measurement and data. The meter has been designed with a four-digit resolution with built-in auto-scaling and can display more than 13 basic parameters for measurement. This is an ideal unit for direct measurement of active power that can be used across a wide range of applications. Features and Benefits: • This three-phase RS PRO VAF digital power meter offers true RMS measurement to ensure accurate and reliable readings • The meter is designed with a four-digit resolution with auto-scaling and gives continuous and instantaneous readings • It also features a field-programmable Star (Wye) or Delta or Single-Phase configuration • The device can measure Average and Phase information for a wider range of comparative results • The RS PRO power meter can display more than 13 basic parameters which can be user-defined, such as VLL, VLN, A (Average & Phase wise), F, ON Hours making it incredibly versatile with a wider range of results • The power meter enclosure housing measures 96 x 96 x 55 mm • Panel cut out size required is 90 x 90 x 55 mm • The device offers a flush panel mounting installation • Class 1.0 accuracy as per IEC 62053-21 Applications: Digital Power Meters, or energy meters, are used to measure and monitor energy and power consumption. There are many different types of power meters that measure different parameters, dependant on the measuring application they are used for. With the versatility of these power meters, they can display and measure voltages, power factors and reactive factors, which in turn can be used to calculate costs for on-peak and off-peak energy consumption. Digital power meters can be used across a wide variety of applications, but can most commonly be found in: • Power plants and sub-stations • Homes and businesses to monitor and display energy consumption on behalf of the energy supplier • Management and monitoring of network power quality and consumption What are the benefits of using a digital power meter compared to an analogue power meter? One of the biggest benefits of using a digital power meter is the fact that it gives continuous and instantaneous readings. Analogue power meters are used for the same purpose as a digital meter, however, they are much more difficult for the average person to read and understand, which is why qualified technicians often come to take the readings from them. Digital power meters are also integrated to share the usage measurements and data to utility suppliers, meaning it is an easier and more convenient way for both the energy user and energy company to be able to give more accurate readings which in turn also affect the cost of energy usage for the user. Why RS PRO? RS PRO is our own brand range and brings you a wide range of high-quality, great value products offering you more choice.
