The 5-metre belt has a diameter of 4 mm and a working load capacity of 3.4 kg based on an 8% tension. Polyurethanes elastic and high tensile strength characteristics make it particularly useful for running it through angled pulleys. Its also much easier to join and manipulate compared to rubber, easy to clean and has a hardness of 88 Type A. It has a safe operating temperature of -30°C to +80°C and resistance to chemicals, oils and abrasion.
