Its six cores contain seven strands of 0.19 mm² grade 1 tinned annealed copper, which is corrosion-resistant. Each core is kept secure within PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation in different colours. The 6 cores, covered by a white PVC sheath, are each capable of handling up to 50 V and a current rating of 1 A. Theres a handy ripcord on the unscreened flexible cable, which makes it simple to strip the sheath back to access the cores. Commonly found in CCTV signal cabling and signal distribution, this security cable operates between temperatures of -50°C to +70°C. In the event of a fire, this cable wont release harsh chemicals as its free of lead, tin and halogen.
