EPCOS - ThermoFuse Varistor, T series. The T series Thermo-Fuse ;sup>TM ;/sup> varistor is a housed unit comprising of a disk varistor connected in series with a thermally coupled fuse. Should the thermally coupled fuse be activated as a result of overheating, the varistor is disconnected from the power circuit and protects the device. In the worst case scenario, this could prevent the device catching fire.
