Souriau SMS Series Quick Mating Cable Mount Plug Housings. SMS Series quick mating cable mount wire to board plug housings with a compact design and 'push to mate' and 'press ; release to unmate' interconnection system that enables quick assembly and installation without the need for any additional hardware. These SMS series quick mating cable mount plug connectors also feature retaining latches for positive locking, pin protection skirts to prevent damage to the contacts and positive polarization keys to prevent mismating. Versions of these SMS cable mount plug housings are also available with discrimination cavities in beween the contact cavities and integrated strain relief hoods that can accept a wide range of cables. SMSxxPDH1 are cable plugs with a strain relief hood ; discrimination cavities SMSxxP1 are cable plugs without a strain relief hood ; without discrimination cavities Available from 2 position to 36 position, these SMS series quick mating cable connectors use size 16 TRIM TRIO 1.6mm diameter snap-lock pin and socket contacts which need to be purchased separately (see stock number ; 687-6364 687-6364 typically) Strain relief hoods can also be purchased separately (see stock number ; 908-3411 908-3411 typically) For mating connectors see SMS series quick mating cable and panel mount receptacle housings and SMS series quick mating PCB mount connectors
