A K type leaf thermocouple mounted on a stainless steel shim. The element junction is grounded at the tip for fast response and the thermocouple is rated to 350°C. The sensor is terminated with 2m of glass-fibre insulated 7/0.2mm lead with a stainless steel overbraid.
