Comprising of two telescopic poles constructed from lightweight, strong, non-conductive fibreglass, and a rigid telescopic crossbar which links the poles together, these HSE GS6 Telescopic Goalposts are effective for use on the likes of construction sites, highways and farms.
They alert vehicle traffic to height sensitive areas and potential overhead damages from overhead cables, power lines and low structures.
The poles extend to a maximum length of 7.3 metres and should be positioned either side of the road of the designated area. They are straightforward to operate by means of a quick release, hand controlled clamping system and easily portable as they can be collapsed to a length of just 1.72m. The pole is divided into red and white sections for enhanced visibility.
This product is available with a choice of either two heavy duty metal bases weighing 13.5kg each or two Metro Block water filled bases for extra stability.
The metal bases feature drill holes which means they can be easily screwed and secured into the ground without the requirement for sandbags, providing ground conditions permit this procedure. However, sandbags could be used and would always be recommended as additional protection.
They can be disassembled for convenient storage and transportation, whilst the robust powder coated metal construction offers excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions and forceful winds.
Weighing an impressive 120kg once full, the Metro Block bases come complete with fill and drainage points and fixing sleeve to ensure a tight fit every time.
Erecting the Goal Post System to its maximum height can be achieved in minutes by one person without the need for extra tools and equipment. All clamps are hand controlled and adjustable without extra tooling.
