Ideal for use in the likes of factories, garages, and construction sites, this 2500mm Steel Chemical Store is designed to effectively and securely chemical materials such as paints and solvents.
Constructed entirely of steel, this robust unit is fitted with two full-length/half-depth shelves and one full length, 1/2 depth shelf at the top which can hold up to 80 x 25 litre containers plus small containers on the top shelf. Each shelf has a maximum load capacity of 400kg.
Fully compliant with the UK Storage Regulations, the cabinet can hold up to 110% of a full IBC or 25% of the total amount of liquid.
It features an integral fully seam welded sump base with a capacity of 450 litres for the safe containment of leaks and spillages, whilst the removable deck grid allows for easy cleaning.
This model has two easy glide sliding doors are constructed from 2mm mild steel and are fitted with a central lock and padlock points (padlocks not supplied) for maximum security. High and low level vents complete with flame arrestor mesh are fitted as standard.
The underside of the unit is fitted with plinths which help eliminate contact with the ground and reduce the risk of corrosion. Prior to painting, the unit is fully shot blasted to provide a clean and keyed surface.
The base of this unit is manufactured from 3mm mild steel sheet with RHS cross members, while the back, sides, and door panels are pressed from 2mm mild steel sheet, which is corrugated as required for additional strength.
All the corner posts, main rails, and cross members are from the rolled hollow section. The roof is pressed and fitted with suitable bracing and fully welded around the perimeter.
