This pea gravel comes in a variation of brown chestnut colours and is rounded, making it suitable as a path and ground cover. The pea gravel helps to create a colourful outdoor setting to make it more inviting for people who visit the area for the first time. It is a cost-effective and embellishing gravel which is commonly used around lighter stones / steps. It is also fish-friendly, allowing it to be used in ponds. When wet, the variety of the colour deepens and you can really see the beauty of the pea gravel. The size of the stones ranges from 6-25mm, with an average size of 20mm. It is ideally laid 3-4cm thick to ensure it evenly and fully covers the ground beneath. The overall weight of this gravel is 1000kg, so it may be easier to use a truck to drop the bags into position. Please Note: As a rule of thumb, one of our 20kg bags will cover an area of 1.6m2 to a recommended depth of 50mm.
Product Appearance
Many of our aggregate products are photographed when wet to display them as they will appear when removed from their bags. When delivered, there can be a light covering of dust on the aggregate which happens during the bagging process at the quarry. When the product has been laid in your garden/outdoor areas, we recommend using a garden hose to wash off any excess dust and dirt.

Due to delivery being made using large heavy vehicles (potentially weighing up to 44 tonnes), we require that you confirm that the area which you require the delivery to be to is flat, and that the ground is stable and able to handle the weight of the vehicle.
Please note that all products are delivered to the kerbside by a tail lift lorry, and our couriers are unable to deliver to a specific location on your property. All aggregates will require a signature upon delivery.
Due to the size and weight of the delivery lorry, we require that you confirm that the access to the delivery address is flat and stable enough to withstand the weight of the vehicle. We cannot deliver onto sloping ground, as the tail lift must be able to lay flat on the ground.
The road to access the delivery address must be suitable for access by a large lorry (usually wider and larger than a dustbin lorry.) If your access is restricted, please contact our office at the time of placing the order, as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a re-delivery charge.
