The 6 Cu Ft Grit Bin is our most popular lockable grit bin and provides secure storage for grit / salt on both residential and commercial premises as it is fitted with a 4" hasp and staple (padlock not supplied).
It is manufactured from durable and UV-resistant polyethylene and is available in a choice of colours including sandstone and stone effect to look attractive in your garden or on your path, drive or business grounds and car parks.
100% Recycled Black Colour Option - This grit bin is available in a 100% black recycled material which is environmentally-friendly and cost-effective.
The grit box features an angled lid designed to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off.
Our 6 Cu Ft Salt Bins are inter-stackable up to nine high and offer compact storage during the summer months when not being used for storing grit / salt. This also means great savings on delivery as up to 18 bins will fit on a standard size pallet. The grit bin is also inter stackable up to 9 high for compact storage in the summer months.

A GRIT / SALT adhesive decal is available as an option to clearly indicate the use of the bin.
The Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.
Multiscoop Dimensions: Length 685mm / Width 220mm / Height 350mm
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this salt bin with 175kg (7 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white grit salt.
Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin and within 10-15 working days.
