Keep the areas around your home or business ice-free this winter by storing your grit/salt in one of our JSP 12 Cu Ft Grit Bins. This popular bin is constructed from robust polyethylene and is available in a colour choice of yellow or recycled black. If you choose the recycled black base, there is also the option to add a yellow lid.
It is designed with an angled lid to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on the top of the bin, ensuring ease of use in winter weather. The bin also features integrated moulded finger grips to assist with lifting of the lid.
This grit bin is stackable up to 7 high and is an ideal option for storage throughout the summer months when not in use. For great economy and savings on delivery, up to 7 grit bins will fit on one standard size pallet.
Optional Extras
An optional factory-fitted hasp and staple is available to add extra security to your rock salt (padlock not included).
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

To ensure you are prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 350 kg (14 x 25 kg bags) of either brown or white salt. Please note that if you add grit salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin.
