This Firmus barrier is a robust and versatile pedestrian barrier system with a generous 2 metre working length and 1m height. They are designed to section off walkways, hazardous areas or road works, whilst providing a high visible presence.
Each barrier is easy to install and connect to the next. The link pin connecting design allows the barriers to be deployed in a straight line but they can also be angled to accommodate more irregular positions. The link pin design also allows the barriers to be places on uneven surfaces including kerbs and slopes, without compromising stability or safety.
The barriers also come with a reflective strip on one side. This ensure additional safety and clear visibility at night or in bad weather conditions to both pedestrians and vehicles.
The barriers are manufactured from UV stabilised polyethylene, which creates a strong and durable barrier that is weather resistant and will not fade over the long-term. The barriers are also stackable within their design, meaning easy transportation and storage.
With the Firmus barrier there is an option of a standard or anti-trip foot. The anti-trip food ensure extra safety when used around pedestrian walkways.
