Following the industry trend for a 2/2 directional electric distributor that is easier to maintain and lasts longer, our engineers in R & D took up the challenge and invented the new VXK series and its exclusive integrated filter. Designed to increase the performance of the valve and stop leaks, the VXK series is made entirely from stainless steel and equipped with a 150 micron filter, effectively eliminates foreign bodies present in the circulating fluids. This protects the downstream equipment, while extending the life of the valve. Another advantage of this compact design series is the ease of maintenance and the resulting time savings. Thanks to the easily removable Y filter, it is no longer necessary to disassemble the tubes. The VXK series and the other series of valves (VX2) developed by SMC have interchangeable ports and voltages and have the same performance. Available in alternating or direct current depending on the option chosen, normally closed or normally open, the VXK series is protected by the IP65 rating and is ideally suited for applications with air, water, oil or steam , at pressures up to 3.0 MPa, with a fluid whose temperature can oscillate between -20 and + 60 °C.
