| SC/UPC Fiber Optic Fast connector (10 Pieces) Fast connectors are designed to enable quick and easy termination of fibers in the field. For uncomplicated fast repair of existing installations as well as for new installations, e.g. for Fttx in-house cabling. Benefits: - Quick and easy to install
- Low attenuation values
- Applicable for all common singlemode fibers
- For fiber cladding with 0.9mm thickness
- SC ceramic ferrule with 2.50mm thickness
- Robust strain relief
- Durable index matching gel
- No complex splicing equipment necessary
- Low tooling requirements
- Low tool effort
The SC/UPC fast connectors are used to close optical cables and fast cross-connection, cable repair, various switching nodes in FTTH networks to form a continuous optical patch. They completely eliminate the need for hand polishing in the field. The mechanical splice technology ensures precise fiber alignment and offers an immediate low loss termination for single-mode optical fibers. The attenuation obtained does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where UPC type connector is required. It is suitable for optical cabling in primary/secondary/tertiary cabling and for use in FTTx networks.
