WAVE ID® Solo WAVE ID Solo read-only readers were designed for customers seeking to leverage their existing card system for applications beyond building access. Providing exceptional protection while maximizing security on devices such as printers, healthcare technologies, process controllers, autonomous robots and more. The WAVE ID Solo delivers plug and play functionality with proximity and contactless smart cards and integrates with all leading operating systems, applications and embedded controllers. The 13.56 MHz model is compatible with most contactless smart cards and the 125 kHz proximity model provides error-free identification for over 300 million physical access cards in use worldwide.
Application Flexibility The readers are specifi cally designed for applications such as kiosks, time & attendance, point of sale, hoteling, meeting attendance, as well as others which require special mounting versatility. These readers mount easily with two screws and fi t in a single-gang electrical box. They incorporate all the functionality of the standard desktop readers and are ideal for specialized card and badge reading locations.
Variety of Formats In addition to the Surface Mount housing (shown), readers are vailable in a standard desktop format, USB Dongle, PCMCIA, Express Card, embedded keyboard, and OEM form factors. Using the optional rf IDEAS Software Developer’s Kit (SDK), the WAVE ID 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz families can be easily integrated with most applications.
