HDMI 1.4:
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).
If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.
Home cinema:The cable is particularly suitable for connecting HDMI components to a 3D home cinema system or AV receiver. Enjoy clear sound with low latency and high resolutions in 4k@30Hz or HD quality.
Streaming:If you stream content from streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ in Full HD or watch it on a Full HD TV, you can use this cable to connect streaming players such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast.
Gaming consoles:For older gaming consoles with a resolution of only 1080p, this cable supports a smoother gaming experience due to the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second. Examples of older games consoles include Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
Playback devices:Full HD and / or 3D televisions, projectors or monitors as well as corresponding first-generation 4k devices (4k@30Hz).
Other output devices:Full HD or 4k@30Hz notebooks, PCs, AV receivers, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes for cable TV or satellite services.
Flat cable:
Due to its flat cable design, this HDMI cable from InLine is thinner and more flexible than round cables. This makes it particularly suitable for situations where there is little space, such as when laying cables along walls, under carpets or furniture. In such situations, a flat cable can usually be laid or concealed more neatly as it adapts better to the surface. This makes installation easier, minimises the risk of damage and ensures an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The InLine flat cable is also particularly suitable for mobile use and frequently changing installations, e.g. at trade fairs or events. The design is less prone to tangling or kinking, which makes it easier to handle and transport.

Gold-plated contacts
The gold-plated plugs improve the conductivity, durability and corrosion resistance of the InLine HDMI cable. The risk of oxidation or corrosion is significantly reduced. This increases the long-term reliability of the connection, e.g. even in environments with higher humidity. Gold-plated contacts adapt better to the connections and are less susceptible to abrasion and damage when plugging and unplugging. In addition, the higher conductivity can improve signal transmission and therefore picture and sound quality, especially over longer cable runs.
