Young's modulus apparatus from Eisco, complete with ceiling bracket, two self-centering chucks and tension weight.The apparatus includes a spirit level mounted in two rectangular cast iron frames with one end resting on the point of a micrometer screw fitted in one frame, the second end of the spirit level pivoted in the second frame.The micrometer is provided with a vertical scale 10mm on either side of the zero and vernier reading 0.01mm.
